Euphoria Music Festival

November 2023, East Perth Western Australia

We were approached by Euphoria Events to design the Main Stage for their music festival. Working within an Alice-in-Wonderland theme, we chose which Giant Flowers would grace the stage along with a ton of vines, flowers and fairy characters. Our team assembled the entire stage in 2 days and took it down after the event.

"Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for last Saturday, the stage design looks GORGEOUS! Super happy with how it turned out." - Samantha Lee-McGlashan, Founder of Euphoria Events

*The mirror frame created by local artist Lewis Horne and the fairy/mushroom sculptures were sourced from Deck the Mall.)

Bunbury Fringe Dome

January & October 2023, Bunbury & Peppermint Grove Western Australia

This was a collaborative artwork where we designed & created the Giant Hanging Flowers to display in a Dome created by Lewis Horne and Giuseppe Ragnetta, with panels painted by Mikaela Miller. We also ran a workshop with Bunbury Fringe volunteers who created the smaller hanging flowers before the Dome went on display throughout the entire festival. The Dome was also displayed at Presbyterian Ladies' College's Open Garden Day in October:

"Thank you Carrissa and the entire Jotterbook team for bringing your amazing Floral Dome to our event at PLC Perth Open Garden Day - it was spectacular and your attention to detail, generosity, co-operation and love for your art is inspiring - we hope that you can join us again for another wonderful event in the future." - Chrissy Miller McKinley, PLC Open Garden Day Committee

Everlasting Daisy Installation at Helen Ansell Art Gallery

August 2023, Mullewa Western Australia

Renowned regional artist Helen Ansell commissioned a hanging display of Giant Everlasting Daisies to bring magic to her Art Gallery during Mullewa's Outback Bloom Wildflower Festival. We created over 30 Native Everlasting flowers out of crepe paper in varying sizes that could be mounted on a stick that Helen already had, and re-used for future events. The Installation was a blast and enjoyed by many Gallery visitors as they perused Helen's incredible artwork.

Hazel Orme Kindy 100 Year Anniversary

October 2023, Fremantle Western Australia

The organisers of Hazel Orme Kindy's 100 Year Anniversary event chanced upon our studio while having their coffees one morning. Enchanted by the sight of a room full of giant flowers, they got in touch and asked if we would decorate the stage at their event where music performances and face painting were to take place. We hung 6 Giant Flowers and placed another 3 Standing Flowers on the stage to create a magical atmosphere for the children and their parents on the day.

"I had a fantastic experience working with Jotterbook Flowers for our community event. Her friendly and passionate approach to her business is truly commendable. The giant flowers she provided added a magical touch, and Carrissa’s helpful, generous, and enthusiastic attitude made the whole process a delight. She’s a wonderful asset to our creative community!"
