Jotterbook Flowers is Perth's original Paper Flower Studio, bringing creativity to life through hands-on workshops and giant sculptural installations that celebrate the beauty of nature.

Creativity for everyone

Since 2020, we've welcomed thousands of people across Western Australia to discover the joy of making paper flowers. Our workshops are especially loved by adults looking for a creative escape, a different way to spend time with friends or simply an opportunity to do something just for themselves. You don't need to be artistic or know where to start. Just come as you are, and we'll take care of the rest.

From the workshop table to larger-than-life installations, we use paper, colour and form to transform spaces and spark curiosity. We collaborate with businesses, cultural organisations and event teams to create distinctive floral experiences that bring imaginative ideas to life.

Claire Molloy
Art has a way of carrying us through things we struggle to put into words.
For Claire, making has always been essential. During a period of chronic pain, art became a refuge, helping her find beauty and hold on to a sense of and wonder even when life was difficult.
​
As owner and creative director of Jotterbook Flowers, Claire brings this belief in the value of making into her work with paper, from hands-on workshops to large-scale sculptural installations. Whether working with a group around a table or transforming a space with giant flowers, she is interested in what happens when we step outside the everyday and make room for possibility.
​
A Fremantle-based multidisciplinary artist and designer, Claire explores colour, form and our relationship with the natural world through painting, sculpture, paper and installation. Her sculptural work has been exhibited at Sculpture by the Sea and her paintings can be found at Sisko Store and David Giles Art Gallery.
Grace Yong
WORKSHOP SPECALIST
Grace is an emerging Malaysian-Chinese artist currently residing and creating in Boorloo (Perth). Currently a Fine Arts student at Curtin, her ever-evolving art practice draws from the diverse and numerous contexts and interests she has engaged in. As a massive extrovert, Grace enjoys meeting new people and is very excited to share her passion for the arts!
Jacq Nalo

Jacq has been with Jotterbook Flowers from the beginning! She’s a working mum who loves to multitask. Being part of the Jotterbook team has been a blessing, inspiring her to never underestimate the power of art and creative community. She also loves that Jotterbook provides a safe space for everyone.
Harriette Alexis
WORKSHOP SPECALIST
A lifelong lover of arts and crafts, Harriette enjoys experimenting with all kinds of creative pursuits, from sewing clothes to woodwork. She loves hearing about the projects our guests are working on and being part of a community that celebrates creativity in all its forms.
Her favourite part of teaching? Seeing the moment a collection of paper petals starts to come together into a flower. She looks forward to welcoming you to a workshop soon!
Suyeon Park
WORKSHOP SPECALIST
A recovering corporate marketer and serial hobby collector who somehow turned a love of making things into another job!
With a background in branding and marketing, Su has a knack for explaining tricky techniques in plain English and reassuring anyone convinced their flower looks terrible. Her philosophy? There are no ugly flowers, only flowers with personality. And if yours looks nothing like the sample? Congratulations. You’re an artist now.
