A dream job for creatives ✨

Want to run craft workshops and work behind the scenes of dreamy festivals, weddings and events?

We’re hiring casual staff to help us set up creative workshops and beautiful art installations in our Fremantle studio and around Perth!

If you love being hands-on, creative, and working with a supportive crew — keep reading.

Welcome to Jotterbook Flowers

We are on a mission to make the world a brighter place through creative workshops and giant floral installations that bring joy to communities and celebrate nature's beauty.

We believe in:

Excellence - Holding ourselves to high standards so we can create truly beautiful, memorable experiences for our guests.

Kindness - Meeting mistakes with compassion, knowing they’re a natural part of learning and growing.

Authenticity - Showing up as our real selves and value honesty, even when things feel messy.

Anti-perfectionism - Believing creativity thrives when we let go of “perfect” and give ourselves permission to play, experiment, and try again.

What you'll be doing:
  • Run beautiful, hands-on workshops in our Fremantle studio and around WA

  • Make paper flower sculptures and decorations (we’ll teach you everything!)

  • Help install and pack down our giant flower displays at events

  • Keep the studio organised and welcoming

  • Every week looks a little different—some days you're leading a class, other days you're behind the scenes helping magic come to life.

Why work with us?
  • Flexible shifts that fit around school hours, uni timetables, or other life stuff

  • Great casual rates from $30/h + penalty rates for weekends, public holidays and overtime.

  • We’re a kind, down-to-earth team—no egos, no drama

  • You’ll be supported with clear instructions, gentle training, and real trust

  • The work is creative, varied, and deeply rewarding

You'll be responsible for:
  • Running smooth, welcoming workshops that guests genuinely enjoy

  • Keeping the studio clean and well-stocked between sessions

  • Making sure every guest finishes their flower and leaves feeling proud

  • Creating beautiful, durable artworks (don’t worry—we’ll guide you!)

  • Being a reliable, calm, and supportive part of our small team

  • You’ll get plenty of training, templates, and support!

You'll love this role if...

✅ You love a varied, flexible role that fits around your life.

✅ You’re warm, welcoming, and love helping people feel confident and included

✅ You’re dependable, organised, and take initiative without needing hand-holding

✅ You enjoy a fast-paced day and stay calm when things don’t go to plan

✅ You care about beauty, creativity, and making things that bring people joy

✅ You’re physically capable and don’t mind a bit of hands-on work (think setting up workshops, light lifting, and ladder climbing—we’ll show you how)

This might not be the role for you, if...

❌ You’re not comfortable leading groups or creating a warm, welcoming vibe

❌ You’d rather stay behind the scenes than connect with guests face-to-face

❌ You need set routines—this role changes week to week, and that’s part of the fun

❌ You prefer being told exactly what to do, rather than taking initiative

❌ You’re looking for something to just clock in and out of—this work has heart, and we’re here to make a difference
